Having seizures after snorting cocaine

I have had seizures all my life.  I have not had one in 8 years until a couple of weeks ago.  I had snorted some cocaine and I think that triggered something into making me have one.  Does cocaine trigger seizures?  It is just funny that I haven't had one in so many years and all of a sudden I had one.

Does that apply to just "snorting" cocaine or also to other drugs such as speed?  Could ingesting cocaine bring on a stroke?

Cocaine overdose can result in severe headaches, seizures, loss of consciousness, heart attack, and respiratory failure.  It may be that you have a lower seizure threshold, so doing cocaine can more easily trigger seizures.

After my 50 Y/0 brother had a massive hemorrhagic stroke..The first thing the neurologist asked me was if my brother used cocaine  Because in his years of experience, the type of stroke my brother had was more often caused by cocaine use...If I was you,I would be very careful with the drug use...

Yes, Virginia, cocaine can trigger siezures.

And the siezure can cause a cascade of events which will turn you into a vegetable. Not likely, but possible.

The person who supplied you with the cocaine belongs breaking rocks on a chain-gang.

I have not had a seizure for over 15 years and have used cocaine for ten day in a row, then quit for the period of two day and ended up having a two grand mile seizure in on day, would this be the fact of not having in my system or triggerd by the abuse of it?

YES, cocaine defenitly causes seizures, and also greatly increases risk for stroke/brain anurysm...  be very careful there ...
