Lacunar Infarct

by Tinay, Aug 09, 2007 04:46AM
I an am Tinay. My brother met an accident in a single motor.  His first CT scan revealed a negative result. However, in his 2nd CT scan, a lacunar infarct right internal capsule was revealed.  He also undergone tracheostomy since he stayed at the intensive care unit for 1 month. What is the effect of lacunar infarct to his ability to move, his languange and his cognitive abilities?
What are the treatment for lacunar  infarct? Would he maintain medicines for lifetime or does he ned to undergo a therapy? What kind of therapy?
