Looking for Research on Vertebral Dissection

by Sarah30, Mar 12, 2006 12:00AM
I had a vertebral disecction which ended in a brain Stem stroke in 2004 that destroyed my right vertebral artery. SInce then it has been discovered that I am pinching off the left vertebral artery and thus shutting off the blood flow to my brain when I turn my head. This has created several TIAs and a headache which I have had since the stroke. I am told that there is nothing that can be done for my condition and that I am a stoke or hemmorage waiting to happen. I am looking for a study, articals, research, anything that has a situation simular to this so that I can have my doctor send my MRIs and records or for him to find the research to keep looking for something that is going to help me. I am only 30 and would like to see my kids grow up. If anyone has any ideas of where to research, let me know.

Thanks
Sarah Grundeman
