Mini Stroke

by BeeBopp, Nov 15, 2005 12:00AM
My husband had an Acute CVA August 2002 then became addicted to percocet.  Has been in rehab and I think drug free for approx. 2 weeks.  Was put on Elavil to help sleep insomnia at that time.  Quit taking it and this morning says he doesn't feel right.  Thinks he might have had a mini stroke.  Right arm doesn't feel right and says speech is different.  How do I know if this is Elavil related?  Should I call doctor?  Will a C-Scan tell me if a mini stroke has occurred?  HELP
