Mrs

My husband is in a coma after a massive stroke that affected 70% of his brain. He is on ventilator but hasn't reacted to light. What is the chance he will wake up and recover? It has been a week and 2 days since the surgery.
Thanks, Peachy

Hello and sorry for the late reply..

Understand your predicament. But it is difficult to predict mam. Once the post operative swelling and inflammation subside, there could be an improvement in his reflexes. The prognosis also depends on the functioning of his vital organs.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
