It is good that he has recovered the functions of his arm and leg. Although it is uncommon to have severe pain on the affected sites. The usual presentationa re numbnessNumbness and tingling and loss of function. Over-the-counter pain medications may help with the pain. But if it persists, have this evaluated further by his doctors to rule out other causes such as nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity-problem or musculoskeletal causes.
