Hi! It sounds like your daughter had a similar stroke as mine. I am a 37 yr old female and now 1 1/2 yrs post stroke. I remember feeling pain in what I assume was the artery but it has pretty much gone away. My dissection was a little lower than your daughters so it may be a little different for me. My pain felt like my artery was aching but I don't know. I have had 3 mri/mra's and nothing has changed so I know there is nothing to be concerned about. The dr's put me on narcotics in the hospital for the pain but that stuff screwed me up more than helped me. I hope this helps! I wish your daughter the best in her recovery!
I have no idea what the problem is. I would always get things checked out rather than leave it to chance.
