can a car accident cause a basil ganglia stroke
I had a "signifigant" bleed in the right basal ganglia a yr ago @ age 48. I can walk with a cane and some w/o a cane indoors. I currently teach. I have no cognitive impairment. Limited use of lft arm & lg but work every day @ pt & ot and still improving.
Well, unfortunately my brothers neurologist must not be upon all the medical news; because, my brother expired 10/17/06-Tuesday. I know man does not know all the answers; but, I feel like in my brothers case whether that had the answers or not, what was meant to be happened. Thank you for your comments and understanding.
I had a basal ganlgia bleed back on April 23rd. Currently I wear a hinged brace on my right foot and I walk with a cane outdoors. I have limited movement in my right arm.
unfortunatelty with strokes, it's wait and watch.
