My mom had 3 strokes in her sleep one on the front right side, back right side and left front side. It happened sometime during the night but we noticed the next morning when we went in her room at 10:00am .They said she also had a heart attack they don't know which came first the heart attack or the stroke but it was nothing wrong with her heart, but she has a blood clot in her leg and they have her on blood thinners for it. She has been in the cvicu for 3 days and they say its not a coma its a deep sleep. They said she is passing alot of clots.Has anyone ever heard of someone having 3 strokes? Any insight would be appreciated.
I know you posted this over a year ago but my dad has recently suffered from almost the exact same condition and I am desperate to find out more information. If you're still active on this site could you please give me more information on what happened with your mother?
Thank you for your help.
