Painful sensitivity to cold a result of stroke?
Have you ever found the sensation of pain is experienced as a result of being touched by something cold; such as a cold stethescope, hands, face cream, etc.?  My friend also finds very gentle brushing of his teeth to be painful, and yet he does not have mouth sores or other dental problems.

My mom had a stroke almost 8 months ago. She is very sensitive to my hands if they are kind of cold.
