SS and DHS too busy on summer vacations to catch up

54 yr old male, AFib,pacer,stroke,heartattacks,cathiter ablation,no med ins,can't get Il. St to help even with a temp. med card to follow up with Neuro Dr. after stroke. Getting worse day by day, Had to give up driving. Numerouse problems keep me from being a productive tax payer (of almose 40 years). A caseworker  got me a 2 mo. temp. card because "Many of us have been on vacation and are having trouble getting caught up". HELLO PEOPLE,  So far I am offered $100 @ mo. and life sustaining drugs if I can make it till Jan 11th when Or if I turn 55.the SS people say I have a good chance for their helpBut now they are only looking at death bed cases.. I would like to help PAY some TAXes instead of being a victim of red tape. If anyone can hook me up with a good Neuro Dr. willing to wait on the red tape.

Ok, maybe I'm a little tough on the lack of help with the USA healthcare system. How does a healthy family pay taxes as well as basic expences living expences, raise three great kids (no college) .... allways tried to pay as I go, minimal credit, never used a credit card, Never owned a new car,on...and on...could not justify the medical I payed on for years and ultimatly had to forfit. 54 years old,never smoked, sober over 26 years, empyy nest, Who thought this would change overnight.   Happy to report cath ablation has helped with most of my problems, BUT it came too late to stop a number of strokes, and TIAs that have left me with left arm and leg problems,memory issues, After 5 MVAs I had to give up driving before someone was badly hurt or worse. State med help ran out on me just before I could get a Neuro Dr. to help with stroke issues................................Much thanks to Prairie Heart and Staff,Springfield, IL........
Our fed SS people say they are only dealing with death bed cases. Mean no harm to others but With a little timely help, just maybe I could PAY TAXs for another ten years.
