My father had a stroke 5 years ago and has not yet fully recovered my question is that prior to his stroke he went to the doctor with neck pain and blurred vision and headaches the doctor sent him for a MRI should the MRI have show the clot he is blocked 100 percent n his cartiod artery I just need to know if this could of been prevented

it could have been prevented not just for your dad but everyone the lie began with the low fat diet. think when ya skin gets dry we add oils or lotions to soften our dry skin if your so dry on ya skin outside can ya imagen how dry ya arteries are and getting hard because they need the oils the same in your inside tissues... blinded because we believed dr's oath to first do no harm now they do daily because the FDA has forced the dr's to become paid pill pushers for Pharma. 3 times i've been instructed by doctors to try something natural an was told to not tell anyone they told me it could jepordise there practice. that's a shame because after they gave me every med they could trying i got worse not better. one time was a rash i couldn't get rid of was itchy an hurt to was told to try as last resort an year of fighting the rash thing was told to try zinc oxide. it was the cheapest and it worked an it was the healthiest option given last because there no money in cheap fixes. goes to show you stand up for whats right only way to be healthy and well... demand proper care tell the doctors they will be held accountable even if it's the drugs because pushing a drug that may cause sudden death is like playing russian rowlet with your life and i believe fda pharma and dr's should be charged with premeditated murder for passing bad drugs that kill ppl an cause life threatening diseases. most the time they have known there be deaths for the 1000s that die before it's recalled or removed an they walk around free... that tells you how much they can be trusted.. now when i see a dr i tell them i'm not here to visit for new scripts i want natural first if they dont know an can give me a diagnosis i can find the natural cure i just have to know what to look for an i have done that is hard to find a dr that willing to work however thats getting easier with the new light on the subject. there are more open to doing things openly an there way an they like to learn an use natural cures an everyone is different but somethings are a given an the saturated fats are essencial as minerals an vitamins. so far I've not needed a dr in a while last er visit was bout year ago for tooth ache.

i started having head aches 3 months before my stroke i was in an out of er an dr's offices trying to figure out what was wrong with me i dont know if it can be diagnosed before hand i'd even seen specialist at the hospital. and a week before my stroke i was supposed to set an appointment with a cardiologist but the receptionist wouldn't listen an 3 days later i was in the hospital fighting for my life. i've learned ppls symptoms can very and with all the new illnesses with similar symptoms they lucky to know. i had my stroke at the hospital while nurses were to busy chatting to have me admitted to be seen. the last thing i remember before was if they dont hurry it be to late. i woke up when a dr was yelling an i was being moved an all i heard before i watch the heart monitor flat line was him telling them he should have been called an they were to give me something.. the nurse put something in my iv that somehow got in my arm. i felt the pain ease an i felt so good i closed my eyes as i thought the poor person hope they ok not knowing it was me 2 hours later i woke up being resuscitated they had started over several times.
i hope your father gets better it will take time he will need everyone to be patient with him an know he's not the same as before an may never be. like me ppl treated me like i was stupid because i couldn't remember things i was capable of understanding i had problems expressing what i wanted to say because i didn't have a word an i knew there was a word I'd need but it just wasn't there made communicating hard....  look up an research natural healing rebuild his body inside an out he will do very well with diet rich in fresh veggies an fruits juices an soups and look up benefits of coconut oil saturated fats like avocados. learning ways to improve his health will be best course of action. after 5 years of meds starting in 1994 untill1997 i was on 29 pills a day dropped someof them due to the risk factors such as one was messing with my liver an it caused damage nother because it effected my kidneys and others that caused my hair fall out and messed up my thyroid. i no longer take meds as of 2005. not even blood pressure meds i eat healthy an some of this i wish i knew back when i had my stroke. i took the meds till i got worse on them knew i'd die if i didn't get away from them. so now after years of learning an trial and error i feel better then i have in a long time. if you like can read my journal i summery of my stroke an how i been getting healthy. diet is important but they know low fat diet is the worst thing the FDA knows this also my heart goes out to you and your family i know how hard my stroke has been on me an the relationships in my life all changed my life changed an ppl treated me different .. good foods an supplements will help his recovery even while he's on the medications until he can stop them later down the road if it's an option he feels best for him each of us is different so good judgement is useful. my mom had mri it shows if the artery is clogged hers did they set her surgery asap she had a stroke before they got to the second side she wasn't feeling well so my aunt took her to the hospital an then the dr sent her home told my aunt she had taken to much Valium the parametric was at my aunts home right after they got back when my mom took turn for worse an she called 911 in less than 15 minutes the same dr wanted to know why she was back my aunt told him because the paramedic's brought her an she thru a fit my mom was rushed to abq and it was to late the damage that could have been reversed she didn't get the meds in time. i'm planning to move to NM to help her an make sure she gets the nutrition she needs they got her on meds but for me i just want to make sure she's getting fresh foods because for her body to heal i think is best for her. she's crippled from it and has trouble communicating.. using repetition an then she gets frustrated because what she wants to say she cant get to form from her brain to her mouth she says no words a lot over an over or i remember.. it's heart breaking so i'm moving closer i've had years of learning how to heal an feel amazingly well for someone not supposed to be here :) diagnosis isn't set stone i'm proof of that

Stacy, you will need to have your father or his power of attorney if he has one go to the place he had his MRI done. Request 1. A DVD or CD of the MRI films and 2. the radiology report.
If the clinic is wondering why it is needed, simply state it is needed for a comparison at another clinic. Since the MRI was done 5 years ago they may not be able to provide a disc. If they are unable to provide a disc or films then just get the radiology report but try to get the films. The information you are looking for should be there. If the radiology report does not state anything that answers your question you can have another neurlogist review the films/CD.
