Does anyone have experience with air ambulance services- air transport to go home? I was referred to www.airambulance.net. Does anyone have info aboout this company or others?
I work for a large third party administrator and I will tell you we pay a lot of claims for air ambulances. They monitor patients closely in the air, but mind you, get it pre-authorized because it is very expensive and if your insurance does not pre-authorize it you will be responsible for the bill, and I am talking $20,000 to $30,000. Good Luck.
