TIA AND STROKE

hello, my mother is 80 and had what they think was a tia 10 days ago. mri's, ct's and various other tests were inconclusive. she had a stroke this morning while still in hospital and is suffering right side paralysis. today's ct still showed nothing. she is atrial defib and has been on warfarin for some time. can anyone here speculate on a prognosis for me as this is all a little mysterious not to mention heart breaking. -J
