What is anticardiolipin disease?

by hasid, Sep 06, 2006 12:00AM
My wife is 44 years old has anticardiolipin disease and she had a mild stroke three years ago. She had open heart surgery to clean out "vegetation" in one of her heart vales, the put a ring in  the valve. She has recovered but she has to take coumadin to thin her blood out.

My question is what is anticardiolipin disease in laymans terms?

What diet would be good for her?

Thank You

There is an old post here that explains it in simple terms.
