by Don228, Mar 04, 2009 11:59AM
I had a mini stroke while on coumidin, my right side was effected, but now after 5 days I still have weakness in my right hand and lower arm, should I be worried? What work can I do, I am not one to sit idle.

Hi Don

Sorry to hear about your TIA.

Try to address the cause of your TIA so that it doesn't happen again nor a full blown stroke.

Your brain & body need a rest they have been through a traumatic time - so don't go full throttle.

When you can gentle exercise on your arm & hand will help to get strength & control back, just don't over do it.
