how can I get help with vision loss after stroke?

I'm Lucy, 24, I had a stroke on May 12th, 2012, yes, 2 mons ago, and I was referred to this neurologic institute where they treat patients to recover from the effects of the stroke that "seems effective" but the drug Enbrel they use seems to have many dangerous side effects and possible very bad symptoms.. I am desperate ro recover my sight, since I lost about 50% of my vision, and the specialists from the treatment said it COULD help, then again, I know it's only been 2 months since the stroke  but I've seen great recovery in all my other motor skills, I'm walking by myself, and my arm and hand movement have improved as well as leg, but I have seen no improvement or changes at all in my sight and it just scares me it would stay like that. I used to be 20-20 now i'm partially blind and its just too hard emotionally and hard to cope with, it limits of course my performance at work and my independence to move around, drive, etc. it just makes me feel very insecure. Do You recommend I wait, or is there any other drug or treatment available that could help with the vision loss after stroke? I appreciate your answers!
