is it more likely to happen again....

i had a drug induced stroke 7 years ago. i took to much X. im still all tingly and numb. am i more likely to have another one compared to someone who hasnt had one? should i be getting check ups often to?

Sorry to hear about your stroke :(

I think the general rule is those of use who have had strokes are more likely to have another one than the general population.  The goal (of you & your doctor) should be to manage what ever risk factors to prevent another stroke.  This means some sort of follow up with your doctor.
