muscle ache

by babymunk, Feb 10, 2005 12:00AM
It has been almost seven months since my stroke, I have re- gained some movement and strength in my hand and foot now.  However, my muscles are aching so bad now that it is colder, I can hardly hold my toothbrush to brush my teeth.  Is this common after a stroke?  I also have diabetes 2 and high-blood pressure.
I am excercising on my own at home now. Do you have any excercise recommendations?  How long is the average recovery?  Is muscle ache a re-occurring pain for stroke victims, if so what can I do to prevent or ease the pain?
