muscle pain

by chiefcok, Mar 01, 2006 12:00AM
I have had 4 minor strokes. I do not have high blood pressure but my doctor put me on Lipator. I started experiencing quite a bit of muscle pain and realised this was one of the symptoms of a statin. I went off the statin over two years ago but still feel like I have been run over by a Mack truck. Some days are worse that others but the muscle pain nerver goes away. I was wondering if this is a symptom of strokes of peri-menupause(I am 45) or what. I do not have insurance so all my doctor dills are paid out of pocket so running every test known to mankind is not an option.I would really like to zero it down to a few. Do you have any thoughts on this?
