post thrombosis rehab

by Hali362, Dec 25, 2008 01:07PM
My 26 yr. old son was diagnosed with a blood clot in his tigh after being hit by a car.  The clot was disolved with cumadin (coumadin).  The main artery in his thigh was been rendered disfunctional from scar tissue. He suffers from chronic pain and swelling and I am concerned about his health down the road.  He does wear a compression stocking.  Is there any way to rehabilitate the artery.  Would exercise help or any dietary supplements to promote healing and circulation?
