How do I control my blood pressure when I'm taking my perscibed meds daily?
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Therapy for TIAs is focused on improving blood supply to the brain with blood thinners like aspirin and controlling high risk factors like diabetes and hypertension. And treatment of hypertension with medications is a step wise approach, which means that the medications are gradually increased based on a person’s response and also if he has other co morbid conditions like MI or renal disease.

Along with your medications you can follow lifestyle measures to control hypertension. . Don't add additional salt in your diet. Exercise regularly and practice relaxation techniques to lower your stress levels.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
