My grandmother, 94 years old suffered a stroke about 3 weeks ago. Doctor said it was a stroke and heart attack. However immediately after the stroke she started to complain about pain in left arm. When we looked at the arm, 80% of the arm was purple- blackBlack cohosh Black draught Black hawcolorColor blindness Color blindness tests Color vision test. However it starts to lose the colorColor blindness Color blindness tests Color vision test now and it is more pink. Anyway she is under medication and she sleeps all the time. We feed her and she used to eat pretty well. However starting with yesterday she can't really swallow. Also she has Alzheimer. Any suggestions?
thank you

Hello, my name is Pam. Your grandmother has dysphagiaSwallowing difficulty. It's where she has difficulty swallowingPainful swallowing Swallowing difficulty and very commonCommon cold after a stroke. She will be fed through a tube and when she gets better she'll be put on pureed food and then when her lungs become strong again she'll eat regular food. She'll also have to have all her liquids thickened until her lung muscles become strong again.
