stroke rehabilitation

where in the jeffeson county mo area can one find stroke rehabilitation services in the home?  certainly willing and able to pay for services. please advise!

I wish i could find someone also.It seems no one wants to help with rehab after a period of time.

i am a twenty nine year old stroke surviorwho was very unable to pay for rehab but after a few months of what i could get i did it on my own with reasearch for equiptment i could buy at home.my first step was walking through the house for 30 min at a time then up the stairs one at a time no matter how long it took eventually i was able to walk out side for at least an hour. i am not sure of ages but i do feel with motivation you can do it own your own. there are also excercises you can do in bed that will strengthen muscles you may need a little help but not much also check with you local hospitals they have theraphist that can come out and teach you

Check with your Hospital's rehab center.  They can direct you to the agencies that perform these functions in your area.  Most Home Health Agencies usually setup these programs with patients prior to discharge.
