vitamin e

by ozymeg, May 06, 2009 10:55PM
I have a query in regards to connection of large dose of vitamin e and strokes. I am asking this because I woke up this morning with a very heavy arm so much so that I could barely wash myself in the shower. I also noticed that my bladder had lost control without my even feeling it between the time my alarm went off and 30mins later arising. I have been having some headaches since starting this larger dose, but nothing too drastic. I have not gone to the doctors because I chose to see if it worsened as because I have a little athritis, I thought as the day wore on it would be better. My arm does feel a little cold but after taking some nurofen I am just a little tired now with my fingers quite cold. I have not taken the vitamin e today and will wait and see before resuning. I take the vitamin e in conjunction with fish oil for joint issues in my knees, apparently the vitamin e stops the fatty acids from oxidising. Any info would be appreciated, as the only thing I can see on the web is with a study that was done on men and vitamin e; it seemed to pose a risk in those cases. thanks
