Sacred of SIDs

Im absolutely terrified of sids, My baby has been sick with collapsed lungs and breathing difficulties and all that goes through my mind is SIDS.

I dont know how to try and prevent it and im loosing sleep over it waking up and checking on him or not even going to sleep i just watch him.
Its ruining my life. he is 3 months old? Can anyone tell me a bit more about how to cope and how to try and prevent?

well I may sound crazy but I breastfeed and have my son sleep with me and I check him all the time.  I still even check our older boys too, how are you doing now? How is your little one?
