Baby also without abdominal wall.

My doctor has recently informed my boyfriend and I that our baby's abdominal wall did not form early on in the pregnancy. What can be done about this? PLEASE tell me something.

Sorry for the late response.
Question is what type of abdominal defect is present.
Such defects can range from umbilical cord hernias, to omphalocele, to giant liver containing omphaloceles, to severe body-stalk and limb body-wall malformations. Prognosis, evaluations, obstetrical and pediatric surgical management depends on the problem present, as does survival and long term outcomes.
Can you be more specific about what the diagnosis is that the doctors told you?
