Hematoma after C-Section

Hello!  I just had a C-Section 15 days ago.  I developed a warm hard spot across the top portion of my incision that is red after my incision healed.  Dr tells me I am not infected but I have a hematoma. Dr also said it would heal on it's own.  This is about a 6 inch long lump on my abdomen.  Any chance of this healing on it's own?  If so, any idea what the heal time may be?
