complications after tripple bypass surgery

If 5 weeks after having tripple by pass surgery if the patient feels sharp left side chest pain and has difficulty breathing, could something be wrong?  This is going on right now she feels real bad and refuses to call her doctor. Please help me quick.

She should see her doctor (cardiologist and/or surgeon) and get a chest x ray ASAP
