this hits home for me as my son has asthma.  i've been more strict with his inhalers and singulair to give him the best chance in case he gets it

Thank you SO MUCH Dr. Choi for your response.  Two of four my children have asthma, and this being pollen season in Northeast, they can go into a full blown attack (needing Prednisone) with the slightest sniffle -- I did the same thing -- encouraged both my kids (16 & 18yrs old)  to use their Advair at the earliest symptom from pollen allergies to be proactive & keep thier immune system at its peak.

I was reading this (below) about the Spanish flu and I was wondering if this was the case with the Swine flu ?

This is sad. The woman who passed away was 33 years old and had recently given birth to a healthy baby. I know that many women who had just given birth, seem to have immune problems afterwards.
