Anyone taken Femara?

Took my 1st Femara today. Got my results back and my FSH is 7.2, Estradiol is 51 and LH is 2.7. Anyone had any experience with Femara?

I had gone in for an US to check my follies and he was going to do a saline US to look at my uterus but he said he couldnt see it as well as he could with an HSG so I ended up having that done instead. He saw 1 follicle on the left and many on the right with the largest at 14mm on CD 10. He said my lining was thin which is probably due to the recent d&c so he put me on Estradiol. He thinks I will be O'ing this weekend.  I didnt really notice any side effects but I have been very irritable. Dont know if that is from the Femara or just the whole process.

I thought you were going in today for u/s? I read you are going in for hsg now... Did something change?

I go in on Saturday which is cd11 for me for an u/s to check follies. Keep me posted on your progress.

Have you noticed any side effects? I have noticed some lingering spotting after af.

My #'s are very close to yours, fsh 8, estradiol <50, and lh 2.0

I'm 40, turning 41 April 24th...... Yikes.

I started femara for the first time today which is cd3 for me. I am taking 7.5 mg for five days. I'm interested in how much you are on and what cd you are taking it on?

Fingers crossed for both of us!!
