Over 40, trying PGD

Hey. I am 44 and have had 3 miscarriages after getting pregnant naturally those 3 times in the last 7 months. All my tests for women with recurring miscarriages are good. Has anyone over 40 been successful after IVF with PGD?

Nope. First we are waiting to get the Karyotype (sp?) test back from our genetic councilor. That test is to see if my miscarriages are due to something in our genes besides a few bad eggs.  (My blood tests for things like clotting issues are all fine. So is my uterus. ) If the councilor says we are good candidates, we will make an appointment with a specialist. I already contacted one. I am away from where I live right now, but after August 28 I want to get the ball rolling. Let's keep in touch!!!

Hi, I am 42 and wondering the same thing.  I have had 3 early mc's and a loss at 18 wks due to T21.  I have my first appt with a fertility specialist on Aug. 2nd.  I have no idea what to expect from the first visit, but I am looking into IVF with PGD.  Do you have an appt yet?
