So after a lot of badgering, I FINALLY got my GP to do some hormone level testing. I had to switch OB's, and she wanted to refer me to an RE for testing, and they couldn't see us until Mid-March. I'm almost 43 people, I don't have time!!!! My DH and I decided from the get-go that we would not go as far as IUI or IVF. If it happened it happened. I was fully preparing myself to give up on the dream and move on. But after a weeks' wait, everything came back completely normal! My FSH is 7.4 - that of a 33-37 year old. I was very encouraged by that. So we will continue charting and BDing and hopefully get our BFP soon. Sending my own baby dust to you all!!
That's great news. I feel the same way about IUI and IVF. If it happens it happens, and I pray that it does. Are you temping? I just started and am getting alot of interesting information about ovulation.
Yes, I am temping. I had a really odd cycle this month with a really late O. I am hoping the abnormality signifies a BFP!!! I am 3dpo and have my second hormone blood test tomorrow morning. Wish there was SOME way they could tell if you've conceived so much earlier!! I know it's come a long way, but geesh!!! I hate waiting!
I'm TTC and I'm 45 and 1/2. This week I noticed brown mucus. Does that mean I am ovulating? I don't want to have to go through IVF, or whatever it is that people do. It sounds so complicated but I want another baby. Hoping for baby dust. Congrats to all who are pregnant and over 40.
