Anyone pregnant over 45?
Hi,
Just wanted to know if anyone has gotten or is pregnant over 45 or almost 45?
I am 44 on my 3rd IUI.

So I'm officially in my 2ww. I'm so excited, I feel like I have much more information on my side now! It's because of all of you that I know what to expect, and what to do to make our dream come true!

Hi Mel, the main reason why I decided to start trying was because my DH and I have a couple we are friends with and she got pregnant at 44 and 10 months naturally. I believe they had been trying for 1 year. She will deliver when she is 45 and 1/2. Her youngest child is 15.
I'm so sorry. I sort of know how you feel, but I think I had a chemical last cycle. I'm just glad that after my TR I know that I can conceive, and you know you can too. I know this ***** but at our age IT CAN HAPPEN, it just takes much longer. I'm praying for you! All my best to you.
Hi IM43, Yes I did decide to do this. I know that many of us are ttc over 40 but I feel like we are in a little different place. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!! I am excited for tomorrow, what a Valentines Day it will be! I am feeling good but I gained 5 lbs this cycle. I've done 5 cycles and didn't gain until this cycle..It's making me crazy. I lost 50lbs. 2 yrs ago. kept it off for a year, now this 5lb gain..yikes! I'm sure its the meds and the fact that it makes me freekin hungry...lol

Hey... did you start this group?? I was thinking about that myself because ttc at 40 is way different that us ttc at 44! Would be nice to see some people who are pregnant at our age. I know there was one woman on here a while ago who conceived by accidental surprise at like 46. I can't remember who she is, but I had talked to her briefly and she told me that she had been having hot flashes, skipping periods the whole menopausal thing. Then for some reason, she was feeling good and someone told her to do an hpt, she laughed but did it after a few more weeks of not feeling good and lo-and-behold, +++.
