Advice?

How long do u think it will take 4 my mom to break up with her boyfriend??? Everything he does, she doesn't care about. He is 18 but acts like a little baby. I cant stand him. Suggestions on how to end it myself? My mother cant know that I had anything to do with it, or she will put me in foster care for stressing her out.

You are very wise. A lot of parents & grown ups in general are not so bright.
Mom may need other things from the relationship. Her value of her own self worth may be suffering right now. This could be one reason she's not ready to give up this guy.
If you had a friend at school for example & they enjoyed bad treatment from someone else, what would you think?  Strange right? But pull yourself back from the current situation at home & imagine it were happening like that.
Now examine your feelings. Yes. You want to help. But how?  Then you'll come up with some personal answers.  You are very smart.   Pamela

Pamela,

Thanks for talking to me. My mom is very important to me. I dont want to mess things up again. The guy treats her really bad, and it's so hard to see him doing this to her. But she doesnt seem to care, and so I dont know when this will end, and what it even is. There's no way it's love. Other people have told me that they are using each other. I finally got her to catch him call her a bad name to my face, and she laughed and didnt care at all. He puts his hands on her, and she thinks it's funny. Like she lets him get away with everything like hes a little baby. He wants me to call him my real father's name. Do you have any idea if they r in love, and if not, how long this will last? Thanks for your time.

Dear Levi. If you know the consequences will be bad for you, better not mess with the situation.  Get more involved in the things in life you enjoy. Do you have a pet? I spend lots of time with my dog & cat & it helps calm my nerves.
Be nice to your mom & show her affection. Bring her a tray of food. Treat her special.  Let me know.   Your friend. Pamela
