Hoping for friends

I'm new to this site. I joined cuz sometimes i feel alone. My family doesnt get me. Theyre nice but they dont get me. I dont know why but sometimes i get really shy and dont want to talk to my friends or see them. So im not very close to any but 5 or 6. I just wish that everyone would just get some common courtesy. Hopefully you guys can be understanding.

Hey angie :) im new here too. i see youve posted around a bit and i think you have some great qaulities. i joined this site to help train my own coping skills, as i have problems of my own, and to learn how to talk with others about depression. im up for a chat whenever, so i hope we get the chance to talk a bit :) keep close to your friends though, they need you like you need them :)
