It does sound like depression. This is how I felt right before I was officially diagnosed. I tried just therapy but sometimes especially in low periods you need more. I would talk to a psychiatrist to
1) get a diagnosis if it is depression
2) see what treatment plan they think would be the best.
Your not alone. I feel it in the exact same way
I am feeling exactly the same, to try and cheer myself up I have made a picture board to look at and a cd of some music that perks me up. Hope this helps and just so you know your not alone x
It sounds like depression, but I would suggest continuing therapy and seeing a psychiatrist if you are considering medication. Medication alone will not solve everything as therapy will teach you great tools to combat depression. Therapists and psychiatrists are the sort of people you will want to keep trying until you find one you are comfortable with because when you're especially bad off, you want to be able to be 100% honest with them.
