Please help me explain this.

I feel like i am the only one, i tried explaining it to 2 psychologists but they dont seem to understand. I hope someone can help me when you have the same: whenever i walk out on the streets or i am in a building or school every place i know i am outside and not home but it just feels like i am floating and just not there. So i fysicly I know I am somewhere but I really can't feel that I am there I am just feeling like I am dreaming and being not able to know what happens around me. I hope someone can help me explain, the psychologist labeled it is as social phobia yes I have that too but I just cannot find someone with social fobia with the same experience that I just explained. Thank you, my English is not perfect just ask when you don't understand I have tried.

Thank you for anwering, it means a lot. I feel like it is related to a depression yes, I am also always tired. I just dont want to sleep at night because i feel relaxed at night and i dont want another day to start with the same bizzarre feeling, i dont know what to do about it. Some people take meds but that is just not the option for me because i feel calmed down enough that would just make me even more feeling like im just dreaming. Wish i could explain it to my psychologist, have you tried anything that works?

This sounds a lot like what I've experienced with social anxiety and also depression. Both can cause something I describe as "I'm stuck inside my body and don't belong in here!" or "space syndrome!" You may not actually be panicking or even worrying at all when you feel this way, but trust me, anxiety can definitely bring about that bizarre feeling. I feel this way whenever I am away from home, too.
