Why are my selfharm scars ony visable when i'm cold?l

Hii.
My self Harm actions don't seem to leave scars, until I join gymnastic classes. It's cold in those rooms and my skin changes color. Then all the scars became visible. I was really scared about it at first. Now my teacher (who I absolutely admire) allows me to wear long sleeves (our gymnastics uniform has short sleeves).
Howcome is this?

Mine aren't that bad either I guess you can only really tell if you look close up. I have one deep one that's pretty noticeable but I have a pretty good excuse for it. Same as for me when I compete it's usually pretty cold, and I can't wear any braclets or watches like I usually do so I get nervous that someone will notice, but if your really worried about it take some cover up and cover it up..works like a charm. :)

ah that could be, but I thought my bloodcirculation would only increase at gymnastic classes...
strange too: scars of scratching seem worse, than scars of cutting...

i don't really know but mine show up more when i'm cold, mine are very visibly all the time but worst in cold.... i think its because of your blood circulation .... less blood goes to the skin when your cold. xx
