Adrenal Fatigue and DHEA

I'm 17 years old and i've just recently been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue.  According to my doctor, high levels of cortisol from stress have depleted my adrenal androgens, particularly dhea sulfate. My levels were below the reference range for my age. He recommended that I supplement with dhea enenthate.  Is this safe for someone my age?

This is a very interesting topic.  Was this just caused from stress or brought on by amounts of caffeine?  Please do keep us posted on what works, this is affecting more people these days.

It can be, but may not be for everyone. This is a good question to discuss with your doctor, to ask about exactly how the medication works and how it will effect your body. Call your doctor or make an appointment to discuss the possible complications of taking this.
