During puberty does the growth of the face all occur at once, around the same general time. For example lets say there is a boy going through puberty and his jaw grows, will the rest of his facial features grow around the same time, or do they all grow at different ages?
Well growth occurs simultaneously. The whole face grows, but the jaw set becomes more prominent, and the boy starts to grow a mustache and a beard. There can be variations in the jaw set in different boys of the same age, as these changes span over years with some getting it earlier than others. However, if in doubt, do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
