HELP! Eating Problem!

I have a serious food issue. I used to be very skinny and pretty, but lately I've been putting on weight because of the amount of food I've been eating. I usually binge eat at night - sometimes during the day if I can't control the urge - and then I feel awful about all the calories I've taken in. For the past month I've been trying to jog at least three times a day, usually for at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours each time. But the weight is still on, and I still feel like a giant bloated whale. Sometimes I'll take one or two laxatives before I go to bed, but they don't seem to do anything - I think my body has gotten used to them. Is that even possible? Anyway, I can't tell anyone about what I do because they'd think Im just a pig and tell me to stop eating. And I try to leave a day in between a few binges that I don't eat, but it's getting harder and harder not to think about food. My grades are even suffering because I can't seem to focus on anything else. And the weight I'm gaining makes me feel worse and in turn makes me eat more. I guess my question is - if you've taken the time to read this long rant - do you have any ideas on how to stop the binging and urges? And does anyone else have a similar problem? Because no one else gets its.

it might be embarassing but it might be a good idea to talk to a parent, school nurse or school counselor.  if it is really affecting your life to that extent therapy or some kind of outside help might be necessary

It seems to me like you're developing a sub type eating disorder. You have days where you don't eat or you binge and take a couple laxatives, those are all symptoms of an eating disorder. You think about food all the time because you're brain is starving. Also, it is possible that your body is used to the couple laxatives and it needs more to flush your system out. I don't know what your relationship with your parents is but I would start by maybe talking to them. If not you could go to your school nurse or a teacher. There is help out there :) If you can't find anything send me a message. I have dealt with this kind of stuff so I can offer some advice.
