Pregnancy or effects of Depo shot?

Ive been on the depo shot for about 4 months now.  In the first 3 months I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about 5 or so times and he ejaculated inside of me, took a pregnancy test last week and it came back negative.
But also on December 8th which was about a little more than 2 weeks ago we had unprotected sex and he ejaculated inside of me, my depo shot was supposed to get renewed December 13th so I was still protected.
I got a pregnancy test like I said 2 weeks after having sex on the 8th and it came back negative.  The problem is I have gained weight about 5-10 pounds in the past month or so which is a sign of depo and also pregnancy I have also been really tired this past week.
I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced pregnancy like signs on depo and if I should be worried, I havent had any other signs such as morning sickness or tender breasts or frequent urination.  So any advice would help.  Thank you.

And please dont tell me that I should make my boyfriend wear a condom if I dont want to be so worried, I am aware of this and am not looking for judgements just looking for advice.

it is the depo shot... i am on my 3rd injection and feel horrible with nausea, hot flashes, night sweats, cannot sleep, weak, dizzy.... i feel like a pregnant woman i know im not because i havent had sex in over a year. this shot tricks our bodies into thinking it is pregnant....

Wow.

I just took a pregnancy test today because my boyfriend and I have been wondering because I've had pregnancy like symptoms. That is strange...

Perhaps it is just the depo shot.

Here. Maybe this site will help a little:

my mother was on the depo shot for 3 years. she gained 60 lbs. she was always tired and HORRIBLE mood swings. it could just be your body getting used to the medication.

My Girlfriend Got A Depo Shot Almost A Year Ago. She Only Got One And Since Then We Have Had Unprotected Sex Every Single Time. She Has Had The Same Things Happening To Her. But She Is Not Pregnant. Me, Her, And Her Mom Went To A Dr. And Got A Blood Test And The Test Came Back Negative. The Thing You Need To Know Is That Depo Is Still An Experamantel Drug And The Side Affects Of The Drug Can Last For A Long Time. It Can Take Up To A Year For Your Period To Go Back To Normal After You Stop Taking It. Your Best Bet Is To Get A Blood And Urin Test Done At The Doctors. Hope This Helps.

Hey ariel my name is Karlene Sanchez and i just got on the DEPO yesterday i read your experience with it and it scared me so bad i am 16 years old and me and my boyfriend/future husband already want a baby. My mother in law made me go get it. We are deeply in love and have steady good paying jobs, but im scared if i keep doing it i will GAIN WAIT and there will be that possibility for us NOT to have one later. :(

Im already feeling a sick off of it and its geting me down emotionally. What do you think i should do before its to late and from your personall experience. Please write back as soon as possible. Thanks for your time.
