Question about growth

Im really paranoid about my growth plates fusing - everytime I feel something on my legs, I think my growth plates are fusing.

Can you tell when they fuse? Because for months now I feel tingly around my ankle and shin bone, sometimes my knee. Im really scared that Im going to stop growing!

Im 15 years old and 4'11! You can see why I dont want them to fuse... Help please???

Sorry, my bad. For girls it's the same except plates fuse between 16-19.

There is a (not very scientific) way of determining your adult height. Add your father's height in inches to your mother's. Divide by two. Girls subtract two and boys add two. It's not very reliable but it will give you a rough guess.

Your growth plates fuse so slowly that you will not feel it. Boys usually fuse between 18 and 21 so I'm sure that's not it. If it makes you feel any better, I was 4'8 when I was 15 and am a 5'11 adult.
