As stated earlier, use a sensitive soap and try to exfoliate as often as possible (using a sensitive cleaner with microbeads in it). If it burns - it's too strong for your skin.... Once you find something that feels good on your skin, stick with it for a few weeks to see results. :-)

my ambition is to go into photgraphy and modelling.
ive been stopped by a number of modelling scouts throughout Liverpool, England of whom have asked me to pop into the studio once i have cleared my skin up a bit.
i just need to get it cleared up and theres so much more potential.

Try using something like soap and water - twice a day - once in the morning and before you go to bed. I use the Dove with moisturizer soap and it works really well for me. Another skin product that I found very useful was Neutrogena (for sensitive skin) - not sure if you have it in the UK, but it workes wonders for me when I have acne. I use the stuff that has little microbeads in it - it helps get the dirt/oil out of the poors. It literally feels like hand lotion with sand in it.
Your skin could be very sensitive and thus by using a more powerful solution it will just harm your skin. Also, try sticking with just one brand - you will not see improvement within the first day or possibly a week, but by sticking with just one product, you will eventually notice a difference.
One thing to make sure that you don't do is touch your face or pick at them - from experience, the more I picked at it (when I first saw it) the bigger they got. I know it is tough not to put your hands on your face, but it definitely helps, it took me a while to break the habit of sitting at my desk with my head propped up with my hand.
Almost every teenager goes through this - believe I had my share of it. I always had some sort of acne growing up. It wasn't until I started using soap that I got cleared up - the **highstreet products** literally burned my face.... it was terrible. Make sure to wash your face before you go to bed (and to wash your sheets/pillow cases regularly). This will definitely help in clearing up the skin.
For some people, special treatment may be required. You may have to see a skin specialist (dermatologist) and take some pills for a few weeks. It is as simple as that.... nobody needs to know that you are taking pills or anything - it's none of their business. I can guarantee that the guys/girls that you are growing up with, who have the **perfect skin** have to work at it also - they found what works for them. You just need to find what works best for you.
As easy as it is for me to say, don't get down on yourself. You have no control over how your body operates, but you do have the power to change the outcome of your physical appearance (as you are currently trying to do). The better you feel about yourself inside, the better you will feel about yourself on the outside. If you have a sport or hobby or anything else that you love, put all of yourself into it (as well as school)....
