Hi!
Vaginal pain can be due to UTIs, vulvovaginitis, labial adhesions and foreign body in vagina like a toilet paper etc, STD, PID or pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine or extra uterine endometriosis, kidney stones and vaginal prolapse.
It is difficult to diagnose this on net. Your friend will need to consult a gynecologist. Based on clinical examination and investigations, a diagnosis can be reached and she can be treated. Take care!
