Very sore Armpit

ok saturday night i was fine right. Was on my way to cricket and lifted my arm and BANG the pain hit me. All day out in the field underneath my left armpit was just so sore. It was sore today but not as bad but i was feeling around and i found a little lump no bigger than a pea. Its quite sore to touch and i have no other symptoms. Is this just cause im still goin through puberty as im 16 and a half???? or is it just swollen glands????

plz help quickly as im already worried thanks to exams and i dont need THIS thanks :D

yer i thought it may have been that. i have been feelin pretty slack lateyl and i had a sore throat the other day

sounds like a swollen lymphnode or w.e....just means ur bodys fightin a sickness...or it could just be some odd puberty thing.

i get pain under my armpit when i sleep the wrong way, with my arm up under my pillow. as for a lump.. ingrown hairs maybe the the issue, however they go away after a few days. it all depends. i would say dont worry about it, but if you are, then just go to the doctors and see what they say. my guess would be ingrown hair. they cause a lot of pain and discomfort when they are at the armpit
