While I was masturbating....embarassing....

Ok, this is really embarassing so I will cut to the chase.
Today whilst I was masturbating with my toy (dildo thing) by penetrating my vagina (rapid pace, deppish), my vagina started to bleed. And I am not talking a little blood, I mean a teaspoon of blood.
Its not my period.
I am a virgin. (never had sex), so I aint pregnant.
Could my hymen have broken? I think I broke it ages ago whilst masturbating but that was a smaller amount of blood.
So what happened or what is it?
It stopped bleeding about 10 mins later, but I am still concerned I have hurt myself inside my vagina.
Thanks

It's not your hymen, because if you've been masturbating for a while it would have broken a while ago. It could just be irritation or a cut inside your vagina that happened while you were do this. Do you have any other symptoms? Another possibility would be an infection, though typically you would have itching, redness, and/or a different type of discharge from what you normally get. It does just sound like irritation though, so it should be fine and heal on it's own. Just leave the area alone, don't douche or try to wash the area with anything other than water, and let your body heal. Take care.
