YEAST INFECTION????

Hi, I am  17 years old and have had to sexual partners the first one currently I have had for two years and I have not had any outbreaks during that time . We have always had protected sec and the condom never broke, we did have oral sex but he only had pimples around his mouth (was never a blister filled with fluid) I was single for quite a bit and had an outbreak randomly, I experienced itching to the point of frustration, it would itch through the night constantly, I then found a split like raw thing on my genital area, it looked raw like the skin split. It was itchy and I obviously touched t and itched it, then more appeared and I started to get worried about it very fast, it was painful to pee and I had extreme white thick discharge, I put horse cream and anti fungal cream on it to try and ease the pain but it made the splits irritated and become painful. It went away after 1 week. I then had a new partner about 12 weeks after this episode and am still with him now, we did not have sex for a while but before we did I had another breakout of itchyness that was very itchy all the time, I didn't get as bad of the splits this time but I had about 2 or 3, I asked my mum if it was thrush and she told me to go the the doctor, she examined me and said it was very severe thrush and she told me to go get diflucan and I did, the symptoms went away in about 24 hours.
I have read all about herpes and yeast infections but I am just worried that the splits / bumps are herepes, they were never a blister with fluid in them I'm just making sure
Please reply!!!!!!!! Thank you to whoever answers this
