Yellow/Green Vaginal discharge??

Hi, I'm really embarrased to ask this but i'm worried. I'm fourteen and i started my period in sixth grade i think. My period is about to start for this month, so i was wearing a small pad just in case. I noticed though that my discharge had changed a little. Its a yellow/green color and its sticky like mucus or snot, and it doesn't normally smell, it just smells like my discharge normally does. The only time it ever smells is if i've been wearing the pad all day or for a long time. When it does smell the only think i can think of is sweaty gym socks if you know what i mean. I hadn't noticed till i read an article in seventeen magazine that got me paranoid.  I've gotten really nervous that it's an infection. I keep reading things that say its either normal, or an infection. I really need a straight answer. I'm way to nervous to tell my mom, and it's really scaring me.

And another thing thats been brought up is eating. I don't eat breakfeast or lunch often because i don't have the time, and i rarely drink anything.

Please help!

im 18 and that has been happening to me for a few years now and it is extremly embarresing! hopefully it will just go away but for me it hasent so im guessing thats just what my discharge is going to be like. i hope this has help you in some way. if you uncomfortable talking to your mum try calling a doctor or someone who can help you so they have no idea who you are so its not as embarresing.

I'm way to embarrassed to tell my mum because speaking g about greenish discharge is embarrassing!!! From what I've read I feel like we just need to cleanse it properly and drink plenty of water and keep a good balanced diet Xxxx

Thank you very much for your answer. Symptoms of yeast include Itching, and buring, but i don't have either, is it possible that i have Yeast without either of those problems?  Should i go see a doctor about this, or is it possible it will go away on its own?

Again, thanks so much for your help.

Yeast infection.
Try the 7-day Canesten (better) and avoid white sugary foods and yeast breads for awhile until it clears.
If there is itching - a hand held shower is great - and glycerin soap ("Pears") instead of cake bar soap. I never use bar soap there since my periods started in grade 4. All the best 2U.
